Twenty six Rotarians and three guests met for a lunch meeting on Monday July 13th at the Pond House Cafe.  Rotarian Dana Gordon - with a fresh tattoo on his leg - started the meeting with the invocation which focused on the start of the 'Egress Era'.  New President Kyle Egress then held his first meeting. 
 
PDG Eileen Rau noted that the club raised $11730.50 for this annual Foundation, 4th out of 60 district clubs per capita / 3rd overall.

Past President Cindy Lang -RLI will be held on Nov 7 in Chicopee.  Noted that there is a past Presidents meeting on 11 August - details will follow in an e-mail.
Past President Hap Leabman - Kinetic Sculpture will be on 20 Sept at Winding Trails - team members are needed and we are a sponsor. 
  The Jazz Brunch will be held on 4 October at the Hartford Club - tickets will go on sale shortly.
The District Golf outing will be held on August 3rd in Longmeadow - contact Harry Davidson if interested.

The Sergeant at Arms reported 26 Rotarians and 3 guests are present.
 
Guest speaker Jimmy Eccleston from MOSAIC discussed the programs and noted the impact of the cuts in state funding.  One of his clients attended and read a letter thanking the club.
 
President Kyle closed the meeting, noting that:
- board meeting at 11am on Monday (before the regular meeting)
- Monday's meeting will be a club assembly focused on Lobsterfest recap and a review of the funds spending report.
- The new Rotary motto is 'Be a gift to the world'
