Twenty eight Rotarians and four guests met on 28 September for a regular club meeting featuring guest speaker Mike Werle, who spoke on the status of the New Children's Museum.  Frank Wargo, DG-elect, was also in attendance.
 
Kove Schwartz led with the invocation.
 
Rick Liftig, DMD, discussed his career field, discussed advances in dentistry, and answered the question 'floss or brush first'...
 
Eileen Rau talked Foundation, noting that Nigeria marked one year polio-free, leaving just Afghanistan and Pakistan.   
The Foundation Dinner is the 5th in Agawam - ticket link is on the web site.
Rotary Leadership Institute is the 7th - the club will reimburse the tuition cost.
 
Todd Bower announced he is transferring to the Bloomfield club due to a job transfer.  
 
Fernando Vidal discussed the Liberty Bank Food drive.
 
Dave Mangs gave feedback from his recent Rotary training and provided the club a stack of reading materials.
 
Sargeant at Arms Roshan Patel - 28 Rotarians and 4 guests present:  Cassius, Alvin, and Marlene - Rotarians visiting from St. Lucia; and Cheryl Rice, guest of Elizabeth Basil.
 
Guest speaker Mike Werle discussed the status of the Children's Museum.  KO has given them some 'breathing room' to find a new home, and their 'Plan A' is based on the UConn campus is West Hartford.
