On Thursday, February 2 West Hartford Rotarians Eileen Rau, Bob Rau, Fernando Vidal, Bennett Forrest, and Harry Davidson, along with the staff of the Children's Reading Partners Alana Blum and Stacey Jennings, sorted over 1000 books donated for the 2016 Greater Hartford Book Drive. All the new books will be distributed to children who participate in the reading mentor program at the end of the year, while used books will be handed out directly to elementary schools around greater Hartford for use in their schools.
