Our Rotary Happy Dollars + Liberty Bank Match = Assistance for those in Need
THIS IS BIG.
Thanks to Liberty Bank’s matching program and the generosity of our members, the Rotary Club has delivered a check for $9779.25 to “The Town That Cares Fund.”
We contributed $6200 in Happy Dollars and Liberty Bank added a $1550 match PLUS an additional $2029.25!
Over 1,000 households received assistance from The Town That Cares in Fiscal Year 2022 (July 2021 - June 2022). Below are a few examples of how residents were assisted by The Town That Cares Fund.
- Over 10,720 bags of groceries were distributed through our Food Pantry Program.
- 680 Students received a gift card for school supplies from our Back to School Program.
- 416 households benefited from our Thanksgiving Program.
- 667 children received holiday gift cards through our Children's Holiday Program.
- 98 households received emergency financial assistance.
What a pleasure to be able to help folks in our community who need a little extra help. We so fortunate to be able to share our good fortunes. Thank you Rotary members, thank you Liberty Bank and thank you to the Town That Cares.
