Bennett conceived this alternative to the “Jazz Brunch” and put it all together to benefit West Hartford Rotary. There are so many great points to make:
We finished in the black – at this point, maybe $4000 net!
About 150 attendees including 20 walk ups
We had $8850 in cash sponsorships and
- The food was perfect. “Harry’s BC Pizza” was great and the VIP offerings from “Tavern in the Square” and “Nothing Bundt Cakes” were spot on. No problems with the Hartford Health Department either.
- The folks at Infinity Hall were gracious to a fault. And what a great venue!
- The band was great!
- The mid-day timing allowed it to be a family event.
- The amount of work needed for setup and cleanup was minimal. It was as close to turn key as you could get.
