$7500 to the Town that Cares!
Liberty Bank adds 25% to our Contribution of $6000
Every year it amazes me at how necessary our food banks are. The three rooms of Town Hall that we filled in April of this year (with $13000 worth of food) were likely depleted in less than a month.
For the last several years, Liberty Bank has setup a matching fund for the local Rotary Clubs where their funds are matched by 25%. This year, the check was for $7500.
Iin the new year, we will organize another food caravan to bring thousands of dollars of food to the food pantry. And one of the big joys about being a Rotarian is the ability to help our community by providing our expertise, clout, and person power.
