On Monday, December 11th, District Governor Christine Burns was our guest speaker. Christine discussed the theme for this Rotary year, "Creating Hope." And in particular, its relevance to mental health.
The next time you see a long lost friend and ask them. "How are you?" consider adding a tag line to that, "No, how are you REALLY?"
You may be surprised at the difference that the tag line makes and be able to start a dialog with a friend in need.
And the guitar? By special request, Christine wished to be serenaded on her birthday! Happy birthday DG Christine!
