Promoting New Members

If you’ve been to either of the last two meetings, you’ve received a membership package that contains five trifold brochures, ten business cards, a sheet of labels that can be put on the back of your own business cards, and a page of bullet points about what Rotary is about and what we do.

After being in the adult world for awhile, you quickly figure out who you can rely on, and who may not be your first choice. You will also likely find that people who give back and are doers, tend to stick together. In fact, they are probably just like you. These are folks that would make good Rotarians. I want to make it convenient for you to make “the ask.”  The package gives you a good start.

Also, on the website, in the Club Documents section, are several helpful guides to recruiting new members. They’re in the “Forms – Files to Help You Promote Membership” directory.

New members are our lifeblood. Before Covid, it was common to have 35-40 members at a meeting. We can get there again, but each one of us has to be on the lookout for like-minded folks who might find Rotary to be their missing piece.

Thank you in advance.
