Toy Sorting with the Salvation Army
On Tuesday, November 28th, a group of stalwarts from the club : Mary, Joe, Carolyn, Rick, Kathy, and David, helped to sort toys at the Salvation Army Headquarters on Washington Street in Hartford.
Oh my were there toys. Bags and bags of toys. And more bags of toys. The Salvation Army distributes these to any parent who requests them. They do not ask for any proof of need. It was a pleasure helping out and we hope that many children in the region will adore the presents that they receive.
