Our Initial Reward for Information Leading to the Arrest of a Hit and Run Driver was Increased by the State

Earlier in the year, the West Hartford Rotary Club, in cooperation with the West Hartford Police Department, offered a $1000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a hit and run driver. The incident took place on December 20th, 2022 when Eugenia Yurovsky was hit while crossing the street with her walker, at the intersection of Boulevard and Whiting Lane.

Today was notable as the State of Connecticut added $25,000 more to the reward money. The West Hartford Police held a new conference which also highlighted Rotary's initiation of the reward fund.

In the following video, past WH Rotary President Bennett Forrest, was briefly interviewed and can be seen at the 1:09 mark: https://www.fox61.com/video/news/local/hartford-county/west-hartford/police-announce-26000-reward-in-89-year-old-womans-fatal-hit-and-run-case/520-b98d20d9-8aed-49b8-905f-884a3aec6ae2
