Meeting Minutes - 25 January

Thirty two Rotarians, two Rotaract club members, and four guests met at the Pond House Cafe for a club meeting on Monday January 25th.

Dennis Carroll was this week's business spotlight. Dennis is a probate lawyer and spoke briefly about his work.

The annual 6th grade writing contest award ceremony will be held on 18 March - save the date!

Vines of March approaches rapidly. Steve Leon from Wine Cellars 4 spoke about the upcoming event.

We are in the midst of a Polio Plus campaign, with a goal of $2000 for the club ($40 each). You can bring a check or donate on line at Rotary International.

Past District Governor / Foundation Chair Eileen Rau gave a presentation on the Rotary Foundation. For funds donated by club members, half comes back to the district as District Designated Fund money and the other half supports Rotary International priority projects around the globe via the World Fund. The Rotary Foundation receives 4 star (top) ratings from Charity Navigator, with nearly 91% of funds raised spent on programs and services.
